APPROVED APPROVED Director General Deputy Director General of Joint Venture "ASKON" of the National Airline of the Republic of Uzbekistan __________________ Khamrakulov I.V. _______________ Sumbaev S.M. " _____ " _____________ 1991 " _______ " ____________ 1991 TEST REPORT No 03/91 of extra sensory perception abilities used by Grabovoi Grigori Petrovich for prediction of malfunction and failure of the aircraft before the test flight 13 November 1991. We, the undersigned, the executor of the work Grabovoi G.P. and the representatives of the Customer - Kubrak V.N. the Chief of Aircraft Test Laboratory of the Aircraft Repair Plant No.243, Saulkin V.M.- the Chief of Engineering Information Center of the Aircraft Maintenance Base, Saldin G.N.- Chief Engineer of Aircraft Test Laboratory of the Aircraft Repair Plant No.243 and Nemtsov S.V. Chief engineer of Engineering Information Center of the Aicraft Maintenance Base drew up this Test Report to confirm that Grabovoi G.P. performed tests in November 1991 mentioned below, using his extra sensory perception abilities. These tests were performed in conformity with Agreement No.9 of 02.12.1991 concluded between Soviet-American Joint Venture "Askon" and the Directorate of Civil Aviation of Uzbekistan on the theme "Nontraditional Methods of Inspecting Aviation Equipment." Under the agreement with the chief specialists of Aircraft Test Laboratory of the Aircraft Repair Plant No.243, 13 November 1991 Grabovoi G.P. inspected the aircraft IL-62 call sign 86518 using his extra sensory perception abilities, which was prepared for the test flight. The aim was to inspect the main systems of the aircraft for 3-5 minutes without using any drawings and to inspect aircraft units and members and define defective components using the catalogue and being some distance off the aircraft. Grabovoi G.P. made extra sensory predictions of potential malfunctions 2 hours before the flight, and when he was 2km. away from the aircraft, he named those units which would malfunction. The prediction of Grabovoi G.P. consisted of two parts. In the first part he defined the units of the aircraft which would malfunction: 1. fueling system and its units; 2. electrical equipment; and those units, which would operate faultlessly: engines and its units, oiling system and its units, air system and its units, hydraulic and hydraulic nitrogen systems and their units, gear, radio communication installations, cockpit equipment, airframe, aircraft recorders. In the second part Grabovoi G.P. named the components and assemblies related to predicted malfunctions and failures and he also gave recommendations which assemblies should be paid special attention. 1. Electrical equipment assemblies which would have deviations during the test flight: - transformer TC 375 CO4A; - three phase bus automatic protector A 3K-50, buses 36D1, D2, D3; - panel 024 (sensing deviations) - panel 025 2. Assemblies related to predicted deviations in the fueling system: - transfer pump of tank No. 5 on the right wing, electric centrifugal pump -87 (deviation related to voltage drop of the electric motor, the switch on the panel "15"); - panel of the fueling system on the center pedestal (controlling the deviations). Besides a special recommendation was given to check the work of compass K13. The chief specialists of the Aircraft Test Laboratory compared the results of the test flight recordered in the logbook to the predictions made by Grabovoi G.P. and made the following conclusions: 1. the prediction concerning the fueling system and electric equipment was correct: there were malfunctions of the fueling and electric systems; 2. the prediction concerning the engines and their units, oiling system and its units, air system and its units, hydraulic and hydraulic nitrogen systems and their units, gear, radio communication installations, cockpit equipment, airframe, aircraft recorders was fully correct: there were no cases of malfunction during the test flight. 3. The prediction concerning the emergency situation was also correct: ther was no emergency situation. 4. The prediction concening the transformer TC 375 CO4A was correct. Transfer pump of tank No.5 is related to fueling system, the panel of the fueling system on the center pedestal sensed deviations. 5. The recommendation to check the work of compass K-13 was correct. Thus the results of the test flight, registered in the documents of the Aircraft Test Laboratory of the Aircraft Repair Plant No.243, compared to the predictions of Grabovoi G.P. given for the period of the test flight 13.11.1991 for the aircraft IL-62 call sign 86518 are identical. The predictions of Grabovoi G.P. based on his extra sensory perception were correct for the aircraft inspected by him before the test flight.
